- An American now living in the UK, I'm an architectural historian and writer. I am fascinated by buildings of all kinds, but am particularly passionate about English parish churches. My first book, How to Read Buildings: A Crash Course in Architecture (2008), has been sighted in bookshops around the world. I am just finishing England's Churches (and How to Read Them) for the History Press.
